In this October article, to help you get in the mood for fall we wanted to share our Good Life version of the famous Pumpkin spice latte.

Good Life version that obviously implies: Quality, freshness, local and above all good ☺

The spices in the pumpkin spice mix are carefully selected for their quality and freshly roasted.

They have the virtues to really warm your body from the inside out and are a real defense weapon for your immune system.

Combined with our specialty coffee and its energizing and antioxidant powers, you'll be ready for winter while enjoying yourself!

Here is our recipe:

We have created a coffee + spices mix pack to make this recipe. Shipping is free!

For the drink syrup:

Ingredients:

About 500g pumpkin, peeled and cubed

250-300g water

500g demerara sugar

22g pumpkin spice mix from Spices and Vanilla.

Equipment:

Juicer or blender

Sieve

Saucepan

Storage bottle

Steps:

Extract the flesh of the pumpkin with a juicer or blender by straining the mixture through a sieve and weigh the resulting juice (there should be just under 250g of juice).

Top up with water until the total liquid is 500g.

Add to the pot with the sugar and spice mixture.

Bring to a slow simmer.

Reduce to a syrup close to 2:1 (i.e. you have removed about 250g of water by evaporation).

Strain first through a sieve, then through a finer mesh if you prefer.

Store the syrup in a bottle in the refrigerator.

For the drink:

Ingredients:

Coffee beans

Cow's milk or plant milk

Your own spice syrup

Equipment:

Espresso machine

Milk warmer/foamer for milk or saucepan and whisk simply ☺

Steps:

Draw a double espresso in the cup of your choice.

Add spice syrup to taste (15g per 240ml cup is a good starting point).

Steam the milk, adding a little foam.

Pour in the milk and foam.

For a sugar-free, simplified version:

Mix a teaspoon of pumpkin spice latte mix with double espresso and hot milk, add pumpkin juice (or not) to taste, you'll easily have a comforting, warming, healthy and delicious drink!

Enjoy ☺
